Vista’s Children and Young People fire station visit

20 Oct 2021

On Wednesday 20th October, some children came with us to visit the fire station in Wigston! This was a really fun and educational visit and everyone who attended had a great time. The children learnt all about the different equipment on a fire engine and what it is all used for. We all took turns sitting in the fire engine and speaking on the radio! The children also got the chance to use the hose pipe, fortunately for us they didn’t get any parents or Vista staff wet! All the staff were very friendly and took time to explain what it means to be a fire fighter.

One parent said “Just wanted to say thank you for today. Was wonderful and the boys are still talking about it”

Another parent said “Thank you so much for today!!! We absolutely all loved it”
