We were lucky enough to be allocated 55 free tickets for the Leicester riders’ game this was also televised by Sky sports as they played against Manchester Giants.

As a result of previous engagement Rebecca Tatman our Children and Young People activities officer was able to get the Riders to facilitate a basketball session prior to the game which was engaging and inclusive to all. The children participated in a few drills including dribbling and shooting!

Playing where the Riders play was such an amazing fun experience for Vista's Children and Young People and their families.

We then all enjoyed pizza and a drink while watching both teams warm up for the big match.

After the match, our outcomes were exceeded by Vista's Children and Young People and their families being allowed to meet the players face to face and have photographs with them. Some of children and young people also got some signatures!

We are sure this will be an evening our families will not forget!

Another parent said “Thanks again for organising the Riders. He absolutely loved it. I’ve had to buy him a basketball this weekend!”
