On Wednesday 19^th October we ran an on the farm workshop! In this activity Vista's Children and Young People were able to free flow through several different sensory and tactile activities. This included a messy play farm, pretending to milk a cow and making our own sheep out of cotton wool and toilet roles! The practitioner running the session also lead a few activities including reading a story, Simon says, and we even learnt some Makaton signs. This was a great session as the children and young people were able to choose which activities they wanted to engage with.

One parent/carer said “Fun activity – Sensory and tactile. Enjoyed that it was interactive, and kids were encouraged to participate which is great for confidence”.

One parent/carer said “Really good session today... had the chance to make some new friends, join in with the activities (Even if she was doing her own thing) We’ve had a great day! Thank you”.
