Vista's Children and Young People enjoy On the Farm workshop
19 Oct 2022
On Wednesday 19th October we ran an on the farm workshop! In this activity Vista's Children and Young People were able to free flow through several different sensory and tactile activities. This included a messy play farm, pretending to milk a cow and making our own sheep out of cotton wool and toilet roles! The practitioner running the session also lead a few activities including reading a story, Simon says, and we even learnt some Makaton signs. This was a great session as the children and young people were able to choose which activities they wanted to engage with.
One parent/carer said “Fun activity – Sensory and tactile. Enjoyed that it was interactive, and kids were encouraged to participate which is great for confidence”.
One parent/carer said “Really good session today... had the chance to make some new friends, join in with the activities (Even if she was doing her own thing) We’ve had a great day! Thank you”.
